Bow Wow Seeks Support For Youth

Bow Wow is making an attempt to reach out to fellow rappers and entertainers for support to the inner city youth.   This cry stems from the recent YouTube video showing the murder of honor student Derrion Albert.  The young man was walking home from school when he saw his friend being attacked by gang members. When he tried to help his friend he was brutally stomped, kicked and beaten with a two-by-four.

What’s even more ironic about this situation is President Obama is overseas at this moment, trying to bring the Olympics to Chicago.  After watching this video, this is not a good look for Olympics hitting the windy city.

In a response to a tweet on twitter.com Chamillionaire was asked about what he thought about Stephon Marbury’s wierd behavior in recent web vidoes.

Chamillionaire tweeted “  Im still trippin’ about Starbury’s live video stream…..Tryin to figure it out.

The messed up part for me is I watched most of his career since before Georgia Tech. I even recorded the game he played vs AI in college.

Your legacy is everything. I just hope Jay Z doesn’t EVER start live streaming for attention. Thats the day Im gonna be done with rap period”

Does the Houston rapper has a point?  In the last few weeks rappers and athletes have been acting like nuts on the web.

When is too much exposure for a “star” too much?  At what point does the foolishness hurt their careers?

In a recent series of tweets, Bow Wow asked his twitter followers what his next moves in his rap career should be.

The young rapper has seen better days when he was the child phenom of Jermaine Dupri’s So So Def, but the sells of his recent releases have been lackluster to say the least.

Here are the tweets:

“Or should I help jd rebuild so so def. Man up become a boss. And sign sum niggas that will bring us bk to da so so def yall luv n remember?”

“How many yall think I should sign with atlantic records n get wit T.I.? Gand hustle homie! Mr kev liles hopefully ill see yall tuesday.”

Bow Wow with T.I. on Grand Hustle?  They maybe ok…. Bow Wow back with JD?  That may be a better fit.

Bow Wow Rips Off Skaters?

Bow Wow Rips off Skater? That’s what Ms. Greer Toney is saying, a community organizer for the 2nd Annual Chev Vous Peace Jam.  The event was suppose to be held at Chev Vous skating rink in Boston.  The community affair is held annually to support peace in the community.

“Bow Wow showed up, but he would not get off his tour bus to perform,” states Toney.  Toney went on to say that no one said anything to her about why Bow Wow refused to get off the bus.  She said the bus drove off without anyone saying a word.

“As a result of having to refund every one’s ticket money, we lost everything.”  Toney went on to say she called Bow Wow’s people and that she wouldn’t be get one penny back.

Hopefully Toney and Chev Vous will be reimbursed if this indeed true.
