Is Eminem Really Obsessed?

Ok, Eminem shot back at Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon with his “Warning” diss track.  It was hot.  The track went straight for Mimi’s jugular, but lets stop for  a minute and analyze what’s really going on here.

Slim Shady tells Mariah to “Shut the F— up before he puts all the phone calls out she made to my house..”

So Slim Shady saved the voicemail messages Mariah left on his voicemail box?  After all these years?

It’s been a minute since him and Mariah allegedly hooked up, right?  … So you kept the voice mails?  Not a good look.

“Mariah has it ever occurred to you I still have pictures…”  Wow, in most relationships go south the person that doesn’t want to let go tend to save pictures of when they were together.  Seriously, this don’t look good.  And we know a lot of Eminem lovers aren’t gonna feel this, but it don’t look good.

Eminem also takes a few jabs at Nick Cannon saying “Faggot, you think I’m scared of you.  You gonna ruin my career, you better get one.  (That was funny) But everybody knows, when an ex isn’t over a relationship they hate their ex-lovers new love even more.  It’s looking worse, Em.

Lastly, and we realize most Eminem lovers aren’t gonna like this, heck, we like the dude, but think about this.  Eminem is going back and forth with a woman.

Mariah Carey isn’t even a rapper.  She didn’t even have enough backbone to say “Yeah, that’s Eminem in the video”.  This is a woman, Shady!!

I Know You Can't Help Missing This

Let that crap go, and let Mariah go.  The longer you keep this beef going with Mariah, the worse it’s going to make you look.

And if you keep it up you will start looking like your Obsessed.  This is a WARNING from a hip hop head.

Cannon And Carey

It has made headlines all over the web, Nick Cannon calling out Eminem for dissing him and his wife Mariah Carey on his new cd Relapse.  Some of the song lyrics are as follows:

“Nick Cannon better back the f*ck up/ I’m not playin’, I want her back you punk”

“Nick Cannon, you pr—, I wish you luck with that f—in’ whore.”

In response to Eminem’s song, “Bagpipes From Baghdad,” Nick Cannon posted a very detailed response to the song and his displeasure for the rapper’s words towards him and his wife.

“Maybe I’m going too far, but I thought we got past the days where white men could spew vulgar obscenities at our beautiful queens and get away with it,” Cannon continued. “What’s next? Are we going to let this trash say something horrible about our lovely first lady, Mrs. Michelle Obama? Or would Marshall have talked sideways out of his neck like this about Oprah Winfrey?

Cannon’s blog post was removed shortly after it was posted.

Since Eminem’s debut to the national rap scene he’s been dissing other artists from Kid Rock to Canibus.  But now has he gone too far?  Maybe.

If you take a trip around the forums and blogs all around the web you will actually notice overwhelming support for Eminem.  Is this support a sign of how poor and low our culture has become?  Or is it a showing of bias because he happens to be the most successful white rapper ever?

Let’s take the entertainment business out of the equation.  And although Cannon makes several references to race in his post, let’s also take race out of the equation also.  You have one man, calling another man’s wife a whore and calling him a punk.  That’s really deep.  It’s actually grounds to administer a grade A knuckle sandwich across that man’s lips.  Nick Cannon had no choice but to spit back at Eminem or he would indeed be a genuine chump.

Again taking the entertainment business out of the equation and  let’s take race out of it also.  Is Eminem bold enough to say these things to Nick Cannon’s face?  Honeslty, would he say half of what he’s said over the length of his carerr to any of his foes?

It’s easy to spew words over wax, but how many “real men” would allow another man to call their wife or girlfriend a whore?

Eminem was out of line and it’s really doubtful he would say anything of this magnitude to Nick Cannon’s face or any man.  And all those out there clowning Nick Cannon for spitting back at Eminem for what he said to that man’s wife need to take a moment to think about the situation.

What if this dude said these things about your girl or your wife?  What would you say?  “Come on man, it’s Eminem, that’s what he does”… Your girl or your wife will call you out as a chump.

And as far as Nick Cannon facing off with Eminem in a fair one, be careful not to underestimate the underdog.  Everybody from the hood knows it ain’t the dog with the loudest bark you need to worry about.
