Chris Brown has manned up and apologized to Rihanna and his fans. He says that he was advised by his lawyer not to speak out about the incident where he attacked then girlfriend Rihanna earlier this year. He asks for his fan’s forgiveness and states he’s going to do his best to be a role model again. See the video here:

The 20 year old R&B singer pleaeded guilty in his assualt case against his former love Rihanna.
The artist will be confined to picking up trash and other community service task for six months and will be on 5 years probation.

Rihanna Gotta Talk!
R&B diva, Rihanna, has been served with a subpoena on Tuesday to testify in the assault case against her ex-love Chris Brown. The alleged assault left the 21 year old diva black and blue with several bite marks.
“By prearrangement with the District Attorney, Rihanna was served Tuesday June 9, 2009, at my office with a subpoena to appear at the preliminary hearing, scheduled for June 22, 2009,” says Donald Etra, Rihanna’s lawyer .
“If that hearing does go forward, Rihanna will appear, and will answer all questions posed to her by the District Attorney and Chris Brown’s lawyer.”
Chris Brown has pleaded not guilty in the assualt case. Since the altercation, Brown has had several death threats and has had to beef up his security.

Trust Me...I Know How To Throw A Punch!
In hip hop make you go hmmm news, rap legend RZA told XXL magazine that he wants Chris Brown to play the role of Bruce Leroy in his remake of he cult classic “The Last Dragon”. He had Brown in mind before he allegedly kung fu chopped Rihanna a few times in an altercation earlier this year.

I holla’d at Chris and he seemed very interested,” said RZA while speaking to XXL. “I never—I didn’t holla at Rihanna. But I holla’d at Chris one day. You know we came across each other in the studio, and I saw him at one of those award shows, and I said, ‘I really got you at the top of the list to bring this character back’ and he said—that he actually loved the character. He said he loved Bruce Lee and he’s a fan of THE LAST DRAGON. I was like, wow, that’s cool cause there’s four of us that votes on it, but my vote is on him.”
RZA Wants Chris To Get Paid For Fighting
Now this is were it gets interesting. Rihanna has been rumored to be the choice to play Laura Charles, Bruce Leroy’s love interest in the original movie. Now as we all look back at the original I don’t think Bruce Leroy laid a finger on Miss Charles, but hey this is a remake, and maybe RZA has something different in mind.
Rihanna better not step on Chris Brown’s Converse in the flick.

I Haven't Dissed Chris.... YET!!!
Publicists for Rihanna and Lady Gaga have released statements that the song “Silly Boy” is a fake. The song was not made by Rihanna and is not a Chris Brown diss song.
The song was posted on Kanye West’s website, kanyeuniversecity.com on Monday.
The song is a about a woman dissing a guy trying to get back with her after making several mistakes in their relationship.
There is nothing in the song that’s directed to Chris Brown. The song had been rumored to be authored by Rihanna in response to the recently leaked nude photos of the pop star.
“The song is a fake… It’s not Lady Gaga,” Lady Gaga’s rep announced.
It’s clear that the song made no reference to Chris Brown, now we all see where assumptions lead. Rihanna has yet to make an official statement about her altercation with Chris Brown a few months ago.

Can Chris Brown Save His Career?
By now the Chris Brown vs. Rihanna spat isgetting to be old news. The biggest issue right now is if Rihanna’s leaving Chris or not. But let’s take a look a little further down the road at the amateur boxer’s future in the music biz.
Technically his singing career should be over. Look at Ike Turner, the original King of Rock and Roll. When the world gotword of how bad he beat Tina Turner his career went into a coma until it finally died. But what about Chris Brown?
He’s young, he’s got that going for him. He sings pretty good, he’s got that going for him. But he’s a woman beater, not so good.
There’s never a good reason to hit a woman. Never. Even Mista’ in The Color Purple tried to get back in good graces with Miss Celie by bringing her children and sister back to America because the loneliness was so bad after she left.
No one wanted to be around Mista. And right now everybody hates Chris. Nobody wants to be around a woman beater, let alone buy his cd.
Even Rihanna, with her apparent foolishness of taking him back can rebound. But what about Chris? Is it possilbe? Only time will tell.
